Women’s World Cup 2023: South Africa beat Italy 3-2 Group D – as it happened  

In the final of Group G played in Wellington, New Zealand, South Africa and Italy faced each other for a place in the last 16. In which South Africa defeated Italy 3–2 and entered the last 16. Italy’s Arianna Caruso (74) scores her second goal to seal a 2-2 draw against South Africa.

South Africa’s Thembi Kgatlana scored a late goal in the 90+2 minute to make it 3-2 against Italy.

Ariana Caruso of Italy scored 2 goals for her team. But a 3–2 defeat against South Africa followed.
