Rory McIlroy birdies last hole to win Scottish Open Title

On Sunday, Rory McIlroy birdied the last two holes to shoot a 2-under 68 to win the Genesis Scottish Open.

Rory McIlroy's first win on Scottish soil and he took loads of confidence into the final Major of the year.

McIlroy was one shot behind Robert McIntyre when he played the slope almost perfectly on the par-3 17th to take the lead with a 4-foot birdie putt.

McIlroy performed what McIlroy called his best shot of the year – a 2-iron to 10 feet in the air for the final birdie.

McIntyre hammered a 3-wood to 4 feet on the 18th hole at The Renaissance Club, pumping both fists when he dropped in for a 64.
