The International Tennis Integrity Agency said on Tuesday it has suspended Simona Halep for four years for doping violations.

Halep, who plans to appeal the decision, was temporarily suspended from October 2022.

Simona Halep's four-year ban will run until October 6, 2026. She will stay away from professional tennis.

Halep, who blamed contaminated nutritional supplements, plans to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
