Simone Biles wins record 8th US Gymnastics title – as it happened 

On Sunday, Simone Biles won the all-around title at the U.S. Gymnastics National Championships in San Jose, California.

Biles posted a total score of 118.40 during the competition at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

He was nearly four points ahead of runner-up Shylze Jones at the US Championships. Leanne Wong finished third.

Other Team USA gymnasts from the Olympics in Tokyo were Jordan Chiles (fifth) and Jade Carey (15th).
